Florian Martin is an industrial designer and founder of the Brussels-based studio Finkr Design. Through his practice, he defends a rigorously functionalist approach, where form derives from use and processes whether craft or industrial are streamlined with precision.

Within the studio, this vision is expressed through a multi-disciplinary method, capable of adapting to the nature, scale and market of each project. Whether it's lighting, furniture or interior design, each creation is part of a search for balance between formal clarity, constructive logic and a sense of purpose.

The exchange of know-how is an essential part of the process: it fuels research, stimulates experimentation and encourages us to question established standards. At Finkr, we talk about creative renunciation, ad hoc solutions, remanufacturing and (re)design.
